CEWC-Cymru is the schools arm of the Welsh Centre for International Affairs, a registered charity which enables people in Wales to understand and engage with global issues.

Our permanent base is in the Temple of Peace in Cardiff’s civic centre, although staff travel throughout Wales to visit schools, meet partners and participate in relevant conferences.

Our work is divided into two types:

  • Core activities, which include events, debating work, staff training and classroom workshops. This work is delivered primarily by our Education Officer.
  • Project work to support particular aspects of global citizenship education and produce teaching resources.

To achieve our goals, we work in partnership with many schools, local education authorities and other organisations around Wales. If your school wants to work more closely with CEWC-Cymru, take a look at the section on membership. Alternatively, you might be interested in our list of partners.
